Morning and Evening Skincare Routines

Did you know skincare is a $140 Billion per year industry?  It can be very overwhelming (and expensive!) to get started with a skincare routine, so we’ve asked our dermatology experts what they’ve seen give the best results for their patients.

Morning:

1.       Wash with a gentle cleanser such as Epionce Gentle Foaming Cleanser.

2.       Apply MD Essentials CE Ferulic serum.  Allow to sit for 3-5 minutes.

3.       Apply any specialty products.  Examples include: morning topical for acne or rosacea, Needle Free Serum for fine lines/wrinkles, and/or Exfoliating pads for acne or anti-aging.

4.       Moisturize.

5.       Sunscreen.

a.       MD Essentials Clear Defense SPF 46 for a transparent sunscreen.

b.      Epionce Tinted SPF for subtle coverage or if any unwanted pigmentation.

Nighttime:

1.        Double cleanse with a gentle cleanser followed by either Epionce Lytic Gel Cleanser or MD Essentials Glycolic cleanser (great for more sensitive skin).

2.       Apply eye products.

a.       Latisse

b.      Eye cream

3.       Apply specialty products (Needle Free Serum for fine lines/wrinkles, SkinBetter Sciences Lines for deeper lines).

4.       Apply retinoid.  See our full post here for All About Retinoids and our tips on how to use them here.

5.       Moisturize.

Twice weekly we recommend the use of the MD Essentials Exfoliating pads or Microderm scrub.

One to two times weekly we recommend the Epionce Skin Firming Mask for extra hydration.

As always, through online consultation we can tailor a skincare regimen perfectly fitting your needs!
